The TTDF (Table-Top Die Folder) is a compact wrapping machine designed for the cottage industry market.

The machine allows users to wrap small products such as baked goods, confectionery or homemade items to a professional standard at a reasonable cost.

Designed and built in collaboration with Marden Edwards, the TTDF is designed to accommodate items up to 75mm in length and width with a maximum height of 40mm. To complete the wrapping process, the user loads the item and a pre-cut sheet of wrapping material (foil, film or paper) into the machine before operating a simple set of four levers. Once finished, the wrapped item drops into the tray.

Completing this project has given invaluable experience and insight into designing products for both commercial and industrial markets.
