McLaren at Spa 650s GT3 Livery
In 2017, Strakka Racing made the move to the Blancpain GT Series with a quartet of McLaren 650s GT3 race cars.
For the prestigious 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, they elected to make the #58 PRO class entry into an art car, with a livery to be designed through a fan competition. As a lifelong motorsports fan, the opportunity was too good to pass up.
Though neither of my designs were eventually selected, the team themselves shared the design on social media where it was praised by other fans, professional livery designers and even a few of team's drivers.
Since then, I have continued to play with livery design in my spare time.
